Implementation Lead Trainer to support complex multi-sector program Implementation and Training Lead (Independent Service Provider; Service provider contract to be established). We are seeking an experienced Implementation and Training
Lead to support the successful implementation of a multi-sector intervention Safe at Home Hamilton designed to prevent homelessness among women experiencing intimate partner violence and support participating organizations in integrating the Safe at Home Hamilton model into routine practice.
The successful candidate will be hired by the evaluation team at MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions, Unity Health Toronto. The successful candidate will use evidence-informed implementation strategies to support organizational readiness, practitioner competency, cross-sector collaboration, and sustained delivery of the program model.
This role goes beyond traditional training delivery. The successful candidate will support participating organizations in adopting, integrating, and sustaining the Safe at Home Hamilton model through training, implementation planning, coaching, problem solving, and continuous quality improvement.
Training will relate to four specific areas of the program model:
(1) Economic security and housing stability,
(2) Children’s safety and well-being,
(3) Gender transformative approaches and practices, and
(4) landlord’s role in supporting women experiencing partner violence.
The Implementation and Training Lead will engage with the Steering Committee, service providers, and implementation partners to translate program principles and protocols into day-to-day practice. This includes facilitating learning, supporting cross-sector collaboration, identifying implementation challenges, and developing practical tools and strategies that promote fidelity, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Meetings with the evaluation team and also the Implementation Support Team will be remote, however training will be in person in Hamilton.

Compensation for this causal role is up to $21, 650.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop implementation strategies that facilitate adoption, integration, fidelity, and sustainability.
• Develop training that includes opportunities for participants to demonstrate knowledge and practical application of key program concepts.
• Develop and deliver engaging training for diverse stakeholders across the violence against women, housing, homelessness, child and family services, health, legal, and community sectors.
• Translate program manuals, protocols, and implementation guidance into accessible learning materials and practical implementation tools.
• Facilitate cross-sector learning and collaboration to support consistent application of the Safe at Home Hamilton model.
• Provide implementation coaching and consultation to participating organizations and service providers.
• Identify barriers and facilitators to implementation and work with partners to develop solutions.
• Support fidelity monitoring, quality improvement, and continuous learning activities.
• Assist with the development of implementation resources, communities of practice, and ongoing capacity-building strategies.
• Integrate gender-transformative, trauma- and violence-informed, anti-oppressive, and equity focused approaches into all training and implementation activities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in implementation, organizational change, adult learning, or knowledge translation within health, social service, housing, violence prevention, or community-based settings.
Candidates may have backgrounds in: • Implementation Science • Implementation tool development (e.g. implementation checklists, workflow tools, practice guides, decision supports, and fidelity tools) • Health Services Research • Public Health • Social Work • Adult Education • Organizational Development • Quality Improvement • Knowledge Translation • Community Systems Change The successful candidate will demonstrate: • Experience implementing complex programs across multiple organizations or sectors. • Strong facilitation and adult education skills. • Excellent group facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills • Experience developing training curricula, implementation tools, and practice supports. • Knowledge of gender-based violence, trauma- and violence-informed care, and gender transformative approaches. • Trauma-informed training delivery • Understanding of the intersections among intimate partner violence, housing instability, economic insecurity, child well-being, and structural inequities. • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse partners and stakeholders. Experience supporting implementation through coaching, consultation, quality improvement, or change management processes.
