Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre (Cornerstone) has an exciting opportunity in which you get to work within the management team to ensure a strong, innovative support system is in place for women and children impacted by gender-based violence in Northumberland County.

What can I expect to do in this role?

    • Responsible for administering/leading the full-cycle recruitment process in collaboration with relevant manager including sourcing, screening, interviewing, preparing offer letters, and overseeing onboarding
    • Stay current on relevant legislation changes, and make updates to processes and policies when necessary to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
    • Responsible for reviewing, designing, and implementing a wide range of organizational training, development and learning initiatives in order to enhance individual, team and organizational performance, and build organizational capability and capacity in collaboration with relevant managers. This includes both initial onboarding practices as well as ongoing training plans
    • Provides inspired leadership for the organization and exemplifies and motivates behaviours, actions and attitudes that are consistent with Cornerstone’s vision, mission, values, and code of ethics

What do I need for this role?

    • Post-secondary education in Human Resources
    • CHRP designation, completion of or working towards CHRL designation an asset
    • Ability to identify areas in a system or process that can be improved
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively engage, collaborate and build strong relationships
    • Aware of and sensitivity to issues of equity, diversity and inclusion
    • Excellent verbal and written communications
    • Strong facilitation
    • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports with analytical and research skills
    • Superior organizational and time management skills

What can I expect from Cornerstone?

    • Salary ranging from $64,621.00 - $81,577.00
