OCRCC Releases Statement re: COVID-19, Pandemics and Gender

A  Statement was issued by the Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres (OCRCC) today, emphasizing support for survivors of sexual violence in our communities continues and noting Ontario sexual assault centres are operating, with some modifications to services that include the closure of their physical offices.

The Statement includes:

• Some Facts: Global Emergencies, Pandemics and Gender  
• COVID-19 and Social Distancing 
• At increased risk: Gender-based violence, violence at home and COVID-19
• COVID-19 and community-based sexual assault centres in Ontario
• Getting Help: Resources for survivors of violence
