OAITH recommendations for the 2014 Ontario Budget:
- A minimum immediate increase of 3.5% and optimal increase of 5% in operational funding for all shelters plus commitment to pay equity obligations
- Ontario to renew investment in affordable housing agreement with the Federal government to create quality, affordable rental housing
- Maintain the $42 million dollars that is being cut March 31st 2014 from the Community Start Up Benefits
